Dr. Lora Cruise
Lora moved with her family to Revelstoke to be closer to the mountains and all they have to offer. She obtained her medical degree from McMaster Medical School and her family practice residency from the University of Ottawa. Lora has been practising full scope family medicine since 2003 in a variety of urban, academic and rural settings. She is a lecturer at the University of Toronto specializing in undergraduate medical training. Lora has experience working in administrative medicine as a medical director and is very engaged in improving the health care system at the regional level. She has done research in group medical visits for children, innovative groups for trauma survivors and integrating technology to improve the patient experience.
She has a special interest in child and adult mental health and substance use. She is pleased to offer consultations and follow up care for mental health, addictions and pain management by referral from your primary care provider. Lora will accept patients for general family medicine care and offer same day appointments for urgent medical concerns for anyone.
Medical Office Assistant (MOA)
Meg was born and raised in the interior of British Columbia. She studied at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, B.C. and graduated with an Administrative Assistant certificate.
On her days off you will find her on outdoor adventures with her family and dog, playing violin, and snowboarding at Revelstoke Mountain Resort.
